Phaneroo Enterprises LLC is a Texas based security consulting company and publisher of Defender Magazine.
Defender Magazine is an independent online publication that was established in 2008 to highlight the U.S. Air Force Security Forces career field.
The goal was to create a venue through which the general public could become familiarized with the Air Force’s largest career field that operates as its Military Police service and ground defense force.
Mr. Sanchez, founder and Chief Executive Manager of Zayin LLC, is an Armed Forces Veteran with over 30 years’ experience in security, public safety, and law enforcement operations. His experience includes government and commercial operations on a global platform with specialized training and experience in a variety of industry operations to include hostage negotiation, forest firefighting, policy review and writing, asset protection, contract compliance/administration, employee/management training, and information technology operations.
Mr. Sanchez serves as the Training, Inspections, Plans and Program (TIPP) Manager, Firearms Program Manager, and Collateral Duty Safety Officer for a federal agency. Mr. Sanchez oversees implementation of security and police policies and procedures, training, inspection, and compliance on federal campuses in Maryland and Colorado. In addition, he manages the campus Commercial Vehicle Inspection Station operations for the Maryland campus.
As a Security Specialist for a previous federal agency, Mr. Sanchez provided management analysis and administrative oversight of various security programs and functions with responsibility of ensuring the overall protection of personnel, facilities and information which included 2,373 buildings on 7,764 acres of 128 campuses nationwide, with over 50,000 federal and contractor personnel of which approximately 34,000 were residential students.
As a Program Director (contractor) within the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Mr. Sanchez provided direct operational oversight and management of personnel providing program management services for various office programs with an annual budget of over $500,000,000. He provided contractor management oversight for the Local Guard Program, Residential Security Program, Surveillance Detection Program, High Threat Protection Division, and the Worldwide Personal Protective Services (WPPS) Program protecting dignitaries such as ambassadors in Iraq, Israel, Bosnia, and the President of Afghanistan.
During his tenure in the U.S. Air Force (USAF), Mr. Sanchez served as a Security Specialist (Military Police) on multiple special duty assignments to include Aircraft Security Non-commissioned Officer (Anti-Hijack Security) in Charge supervising security for executive aircraft and resources involved in transporting the United States President, Vice President, Executive, Legislative and visiting Foreign Dignitary Delegations. He performed in-flight security duties to counter potential hijacking situations and terrorist threats. As a Ceremonial Guardsman with the USAF Honor Guard, he performed ceremonies for the U.S. President and foreign heads of state throughout the National Capital Region, Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Mr. Sanchez has multiple law enforcement and correctional officer academy certificates and numerous performance awards including the Air Force Security Police Academy Distinguished Honor Graduate, U.S. Army Commander’s Leadership award, and the police academy “Top Gun” award.
Mr. Sanchez is a Senior Instructor in multiple law enforcement/security training categories to include handgun, shotgun, expandable baton, OC pepper spray, and techniques and tactics for handcuffing.
Mr. Sanchez is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Defender Magazine; a publication dedicated to highlighting the honorable service, sacrifice, and accomplishments of U.S. Air Force Security Forces (police) members.
Mr. Sanchez has a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from the University of Virginia (High Distinction Honors) and an Associates of Science degree from Northern Virginia Community College (Cum Laude Honors).
Mr. Sanchez and his wife Clarissa have three sons in college and a daughter in high school. Mr. Sanchez is a minister for a weekly nationwide men’s conference call and an associate pastor in Mitchellville MD.
